I would've given it a 5 star if the 3.1 usb port was facing vertically i know it sounds silly to complain about but yea other than that there's literally no incentive to get an x870 unless your pockets big or just into overclocking bios is so easy to use even in advanced mode

The B850 AORUS ELITE ICE came with a decent set of accessories. The WiFi antenna is a screwless plug-in with a magnetic base. You also get two SATA cables, some M.2 heatshield pads and a front panel case header G connector, an AORUS sticker, and documentation.

This motherboard is affordable for a white-themed board. The blend of white and metallic highlights looks really awesome. It comes with three ARGB headers and an RGB strip header. There's just one small integrated RGB section, which is located underneath the chipset heatsink, next to the BIOS battery. Alongside the standard case connector headers, it includes a good set of internal headers and buttons. You get six 4-pin fan headers and a decent USB complement consisting of up to four USB 2.0 ports, two 5Gbps ports, and a Type-C 20Gbps port, Power and reset buttons and a single HDMI port, which can be used for an internal monitor. The board's four DIMM slots support speeds of up to DDR5-8200+, with up to 256GB supported. However, 32GB or 64GB of RAM, DDR5-6000 to 6400 remains the sweet spot for AMD CPU's. It includes three M.2 slots, one of which supports PCIe 5.0. The other two run at PCIe 4.0 speeds. A single plate cools all three. Four SATA ports allow for a maximum capacity of seven drives. There are three PCIe expansion slots. The topmost one supports PCIe 5.0 x16 devices, while the other two x16 slots are limited to PCIe 3.0 speeds and run at just x1. The primary PCIe slot includes GIGABYTE's EZ-Latch quick-release mechanism, which is a great feature when removing the gpu if installed. The VRM Heatsinks is more than adequate and provides sufficient cooling. The rear I/O panel is well-equipped. There are twelve USB ports: a single 10Gbps Type-C port, two 10Gbps Type-A ports, five 5Gbps ports, and four USB 2.0 ports. There is a single 2.5G LAN port, Wifi 7 Antenna Port operating at 160MHz. Next are the audio ports, which consist of 3.5mm line-in and line-out ports and S/PDIF. There's also a single DisplayPort and a BIOS flashback button with the ability to update the bios.

I had a slightly bad build experience, reason for this was my Ryzen 9600x CPU I ordered initially was bad and had to be replaced and because I wasn sure what component had an issue as I had no spare components to test, I had to return the motherboard, ram and CPU, but I got amazing support from Wootware Staff with the RMA process. I have the motherboard paired with a Ryzen 9600x CPU, 32Mb of ADATA XPG Lancer DDR5 Ram running at 6000MHz using AMD Expo, 1Tb Seagate Firecuda 530 NVME PCIx 4.0 SSD, White Arctic LF3 360mm AIO in a White ANTEC C8 Aluminium Chassis with an Asus GeForce 1660Ti, 1200 watt Coolermaster Silent Pro PSU and some Corsair QL120mm iCue Fans and I have no issues whatsoever.
