Good budget board - Benjamin, 4 February 2026

I bought this board knowing full well that it was a budget decision and that I might be compromising on some features.

I shouldn't have worried. This board feels fully featured, with more fan and USB headers than I know what to do with. The BIOS is easy to use and seems to have all the features I need. Power delivery to components also seems safe and solid.

There is only one downside that I've found, and that is that the SLI slot sits very high. I had a very real concern that my GPU waterblock and CPU waterblock would clash with each other. Luckily they fit, but if you're using a large air-cooling tower, you might wish to confirm compatibility before pulling the trigger.

For the price definitely a great buy, Am5 socket allows me to upgrade in the future and it worked right out of the box. In terms of software the bios is easy to navigate, only draw back is that it does have some dialled back features compared to something like the Aorus (expected for the cost difference) but is a great motherboard so far for my needs
