They went out of their way to help me. The order arrived as scheduled. The hard disk easily connected, and now it's up and running doing harddrivey-stuff. I feel better now that my backups is actually happening.

It is a hard drive and it works, not too loud and is working quite nicely in my truenas machine. Only time will tell how they stack up.

I can't really speak to reliability, as I have not had it nearly long enough. But so far so good, it's a decent amount of storage at a great price considering it is intended for NAS and uses CMR recording, and should be more robust than similarly priced HDDs on the market.

Ordered this for my new Synology NAS, was instantly picked up and formatted correctly, Synology reported no compatibility issues (this drive is on the Compatibility List) and has been working flawlessly ever since. Speed is what you would expect from a spinning drive, but not bad either.
