ID-Cooling FX240 PRO 240mm Black Liquid CPU Cooler

I do have to agree with the other reviews the fans to tend to ramp up quite aggressively depending on the curve you have set for the cpu.

Paired this with an AMD 9600x which is quite a warm chip and do have to say under full load I see no more than 70c, using decent paste and tension is done perfectly.

Only really issue is the fans ramping but soon to be pairing with some decent 3rd party fans and this shouldn’t be an issue.

Great for the price.

When the CPU starts to work a bit and the fans speed up, immediately they start making a horrible noise, and one of the fans are hitting the frame at these higher speeds. I tried the least amount of tension on the screws as possible without them being obviously to loose and definitely NOT to tight either. The radiator and fans are mounted at the top of the case and it appears to be the first fan from the back of the case that is the culprit. At least four people in the review section also complained about fans kicking up a racket. TBH I'm not really happy with the noise and would be interested in Wootware's thoughts on this and what sort of solution you guys can propose.

I upgraded from the old 3600's stock cooler and this was a solid purchase, seeing great temps around 45/50 idle temp and 65/66 under load really impressed.

I'm impressed with the quality of the product, the cooling is brilliant, I only have one fan on the radiator due to RAM clearance but it still runs very cold.
something I have seen which is a bummer is the fans themselves. the make a loud rattling noise when full speed, I tested them thinking it was the bearings but it turned out to be the frame flexing and bending, hitting the blades, due to them being screwed in too tightly.
After I screwed them a bit looser the noise stopped. It is unfortunate but not a deal breaker.

I like how ID Cooling products usually keep a minimal black aesthetic, they look incredible in the build. The cooler is not loud and keeps the CPU temps around 40°C when paired with the Ryzen 5700X. It does however turn up the jet engines when the CPU is under load at 100% like when you're using Da Vinci Resolve to render a video, which is quite loud but also keeps the temps at around 80°C.

Good cooler, paired with a 7600X.

Keeps temperatures below 50°C when performing less demanding tasks. Keeps temperatures between 70°C and 85°C during CPU-intensive tasks.

The only downside is that it can be a little noisy when using board presets, but nothing a good manual tune can't fix.

I needed a cooler to pair with my 7900x. This was a really affordable option and i'm beyond impressed. The build quality is fantastic, the fans come with rubberised edges to prevent rattling and it looks sleek in my case. The only issues I could find was the cooler makes a small noise when the pc starts climbing in temps and there were air bubbles in the loop initially which freaked me out a bit (but the air has removed itself)
