Decent Mouse - K, 24 February 2025
This mouse bricked itself 2 hours after I installed the drivers. RMA'd it and the replacement didn't do this.
This mouse is very lightweight & small, which may be a pro or con depending on your preference.
Battery life seems okay, but on ECO mode it gives no warning that it is close to death, so it just stops working.
The scroll wheel is extremely mushy, making middle clicks very awkward unless you have just the right angle on it.
I consistently have an issue on Linux where when using wireless mode, after a period of inactivity the mouse will not wake up without the dongle being unplugged & plugged back in. Adjusting autosuspend & the USB timeout does not seem to help, but disabling Mouse sleep in the cooler master software made it happen less frequently.
I only have this issue on Linux, and not Mac or Windows, but I have also never had this issue with any other wireless mouse on linux.
Overall the mouse is just OK, tri-mode connectivity is fantastic, and overall build quality seems OK (it also visually looks nice) but between the mushy buttons & very small build, it can be awkward to use.
I won't return it but I will probably also replace it before it dies a natural death.
