Worth Upgrade
Choosing the RX 9070 over the XT variant may seem silly. However, if you want a quiet and efficient mid tier card this will do it. With normal desktop use the card is pulling just 10W @ 4k. It is also whisper quiet with no coil wine that I could hear, even during gaming. I'm using this as a workstation card on Linux for rendering. The drivers are rock solid, no weird issues. Upgrading from an RX 5700 XT - the performance difference is huge

Great value
I haven't bought Radeon in over a decade, but I was pleasantly surprised by this 9070. Not only is it a beast in terms of performance, it is also very power-efficient and quiet. The GPU at steady state hovers around 60C and 180W, which is very impressive in this power-hungry time of GPUs we are in now. The fans are also extremely quiet and don't bother me at all, compared to my old GamingPro Palit which whined at steady state. I can definitely recommend this GPU.

Exceeded expectations!
I upgraded from an RTX 3060Ti Exceeded expectations, this card can max out many games even with Raytracing at 1440p, but path tracing requires upscaling. I had some stuttering but I turned off ULPS and Anti-Lag, that fixed that. Card runs quiet, highest temp so far (non-hotspot) is 61c when stress testing. I use to undervolt my VEGA 64 to get massive gains, that'll be my plan for this one once I start feeling the pinch in the future.
