Great CPU for Adobe Premiere
As a full-time video editor and motion designer, I primarily work with Adobe Premiere, and after upgrading to this CPU, I can say that so far it's been solid choice. While Intel doesn't really have an answer to AMD in terms of gaming, for productivity and Premiere Pro specifically it's really great CPU. AMD doesn't have Quick Sync and unless you move up to a Threadripper system Intel is the better choice. I made the jump from a laptop, and this CPU was the perfect upgrade for me. If you're already running a 14th gen Intel processor, it might not be worth the switch, but for those looking for faster memory support (CUDIMM) and improved I/O and slightly better performance it’s a worthwhile upgrade. While it’s not flawless, with a few minor issues that I hope will be addressed soon, it’s been incredibly stable so far. I’ve been able to edit 4K and 6K footage smoothly, all while consuming less power than the 14th gen. My setup is running on a 420 AIO cooler, and the temperatures are great. It’s still early days, but so far, I’m very happy with my decision and have no regrets at all. Just make sure to update your BIOS and Windows for the best performance.
