Good upgrade
Was a bit skeptical at making the purchase at first since l had seen many bad reviews about gigabyte motherboards but decided to give it a try and wasn't disappointed at all. Coming from a b250 + g4560 to a b550 + R5 5500 is a great upgrade. Good motherboard that looks good at a good price
This motherboard looks very good with a few subtle rgb accents, it performs very well and the vrms stay cool. BIOS is pretty easy to config. it supports pcie gen 4 on any 5000 series cpus(except the 5500 and any 5000G series). also has good rear IO

Great mid-range board for first-time builders
When you see mid-range you tend to think "No, I want this pc to run smooth and give me ALL the frames". Relax this board will give you the fps you want, it just won't allow overclocking as much as the higher-end chipsets. This board is great for someone building their first pc. It's compatible with intergrated graphics, it has clearly marked headers (connectors) and it works perfectly with Phanteks RGB. I plonked a Ryzen 5 3600 into this baby with a 750Ti (omg old, I know) and it gives me great performance with gaming in titles like Dota2, CSGO, Civilization, Total War: Rome Remastered. The BIOS is easy to use, with fan control and profile setup made foolproof. Would recommend this any time.

Feature-rich and well priced
I paired this with a 5600X and G.Skill TridentZ RGB 32GB DDR4-3200MHz CL16 1.35V. No compatibility issues at all. I'm very happy with the feature set on this board for the price. I'm not really into RGB, but the lighting built into the board is a little underwhelming if that's something you're looking for.

Perfect board
I paired this board with a 5800X and it runs perfectly! You can even disable to RGB in the BIOS! This is my first time running AMD and I'm very happy. This board and a 5800X even runs Windows 7! Yay! Note to new buyers, this board says it is the B550 AORUS ELITE, but I got the B550 AORUS ELITE V2, which gives up one back panel USB3 connector for a front panel USB-C connector.

Lovely motherboard
This motherboard is fairly cheap for a B550, has all the normal functioning of a B550 board, and looks stunning! Only downside I have found is that other boards have more fan headers, but with one being able to attach five fans (including a cpu fan and AIO pump) this motherboard is plenty good enough for your average user. You may need to use the q-flash function if installing a 5000 series CPU though, but this is fairly easy to do and does not need one to own an older Ryzen CPU to do.
