Not ideal
Bought this with a monitor that had one in as well. Used this one. The monitor goes off intermittently then i needed to unplug it from my graphics card and into another port on the graphics card, this happens over and over until i just switched the cable to the one that came in the monitor's box. The thickness of the cables also differed. This one is thinner. I would not recommend this cable.
