I deeply regret my purchase
I bought these to replace my AIO fans after the bearing went in one of them and I regret my choice. First off, small thing, but there are no rubber washers for the screw holes yet there are cutouts on the frame for them. Why? What miniscule cost saving are you handing down to me by omitting these? That aside, the fans actually perform well but at a huge cost. The sound these things make is absolutely horrific. They have this obnoxiously loud droning/whining sound between 1000-12000RPM that I cannot quite describe but it's not something you want to hear coming from your PC. On top of that horrible droning sound is the annoying ramp up/down, it sounds very jerky, like it'll step down and it sounds like it's gone too far and then immediately go back up a bit, then down a bit more and so on until it finds where it's meant to be. They're all over the place and although you can improve it somewhat by tuning your fan control software, it's still not great. The only reason I'm not looking at returning them immediately is because there just aren't any other options right now that can provide the same performance but as soon as there are, these will be going straight in the bin where they belong. I can't believe these made it past any kind of quality control and onto the market. Corsair need to and should do better than this. Sorry Wootware, I hate to leave a bad review because your service is always excellent but this is a terrible product.
