Is it loud? Yes, Is it louder than a Jet taking off right next to you? Probably, yes. That is to be expected with a 3000rpm + fan, but what is not expected, is constant noise and a scratching bearing noise even at 1200rpm with a low noise adaptor on, otherwise it will spin at 1500rpm constantly and sound like a broken turbo. It does move an immense amount of air and is very capable of moving air even at 1200-2400rpm but man oh man is just way too loud for my liking. The build quality is insanely good and it looks good, would definitely look better in pure black though. Oh and did I mention that you could buy 3-4 very decent fans for the same price as this one? The Arctic P12's perform similarly and at much quieter noise levels.

Loving these - they push a ton of air and can help make any cooler way more efficient. Not as loud as I've expected to be - they have a little bit of bearing whine but nowhere near the noise levels of Corsair SP120L fan levels haha. 3 of these do get quite loud at full tilt but man they do their job exceptionally well.

A tad pricey but also not. It's really solid and well built AND it comes with what looks like neoprene fan mounts (that are totally amazing!) but also includes decent screws!
