My 1st AMD GPU
My ASUS Prime RX 9070? Love it. Got it while it was still a great deal, too! The software's stable – no issues, no crashes. Even on silent BIOS/low power, FPS is great; my 165Hz 2K monitor is easily maxed. Fans barely spin, 600 RPM max. Awesome card, awesome value.

I feel the power!
It's been maybe... 6 years since I've had a GPU I'd uncompromisingly call a high performer. The card I upgraded from was an XFX 6600XT, which is certainly not bad for it's age or how much I got it for, but struggles heavily at 1440p with anything demanding. It also ran exceptionally hot thanks to kinda iffy cooler design and multiple ant invasion incidents. Which made the switchover to the Asus RX9070 prime an absolute mindbender of a difference. Temps are 30 degrees lower while performance in multiple areas is over 130% higher. Night and day. Cyberpunk at 60+ with ray tracing, 100+ FPS without. Star Citizen actually performing decently for once. AI on the local machine that is actually sort of worth the effort of setup. 16GB of VRAM is a huge difference there. So, I'm not comparing it in particular to the other crop of RX cards out there, or the 5090, but what I upgraded from... and I have nothing but joy from that comparison.

Oh yes
Unless it bursts into flames and burns down my house in the next day or so, I definitely recommend it. It's an absolutely glorious upgrade if you're coming from something like a 6600XT or a RTX3060. I'm talking more than double the performance and ray tracing well beyond slideshow speeds. And even some AI if you're into that. Reasonably quiet too, for a triple fan card, although some might prefer a little more silent. I'm also very satisfied with the service and delivery time, thank you Wootware for the great weekend I'm about to receive.
