I'm using this for heavy duty video editing and animation and even before I installed a GPU the 7950x was already making me coffee. Jokes aside, AMD has released a one-of-a-kind little monster that will deliver years of top-tier performance. Absolutely marvellous CPU.

A Titan among men.
This CPU has blown my mind. Really blown my mind. It is FAST, and it is POWERFUL. If you need some grunt horsepower to get through some tasks, such as final recoding of video using CPU or heavy numerical processing. This is the processor for you! Quickly wrote scripts to do batch processing of some media using ffmpeg and this beast got things done in a few minutes that a machine from just a few years ago would have taken a day to do. If you do programming and heavy numerical number crunching, you can put things like numpy and Go/Rust programs to use up all cores, truly mind boggling. Coupled with the large L1/L2/L3 caching it's truly a Titan in the land of mortals. The productivity boost is not to be under estimated. I highly suggest corporations start investing in powerful desktops CPU like this for development/design staff and then give a mid range laptop for when they are on the move.
