Great value CPU
I got this CPU for a mid-range build. It offers exceptionally good value, beating out it's Core i5 rival in most tasks. It is very power efficient and runs cool and quiet, even with the included box cooler. Its 6 cores offer plenty of muscle for gaming. The only downside to this CPU is that it does not have SMT (Simultaneous Multi-threading) which can cause it to fall behind it's bigger brother - the Ryzen 5 3600 - in multi-threaded workloads such as video rendering and professional 3D work. Overall, it is a great CPU, and if you need the power to play games, but can't quite afford the Ryzen 5 3600, then this CPU is the one for you.
